Base building used to be a thing of just "end game" just because progression would stop so it was more of a "Why not" kind of a deal. Now with all the recent changes to them being a bit sturdier and with the reemergence of the ground tamper bases are definitely a necessity. A hint for a safe base includes ground tampering then building perimeter walls and a gate (This can double as a garage). Then you add a foundation on top of the tamper and build a normal base as such. This is giving you multiple usages for your base plus the peace of mind of two sets of encompassing walls. Farming,secure storage, vehicle garage, and now bee keeping are just SOME of the reasons why you need to be building bases within H1Z1.
